HYT ProGrade TM-800 Mobile
Once upon a time, a mobile radio was used only to communicate in a voice mode with other radios. Today's TM-800 can do a whole lot more. For example, each unit can transmit it's ID (MDC-1200), send alerts to monitor pagers, automatically transpond to an incoming call, even switch to encrypted communications. Additionally, the TM-800 can send and receive status text messages when used with an optional keypad microphone. A high powered 12 watt amplifier can drive an external speaker.
